Our team is assembled from all over the world, with different backgrounds, for one purpose - to pursue life as family through Jesus. Here you will find information about our Pastor and ministry staff who serve both full and part-time with Common Ground.
Lead Pastor: Danny Schaffner
Danny Schaffner has been married to the love of his life, Kristi, for well over 15 years now. They have 4 boys - Waylon, Ricky, Caden, and Brody. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys all sorts of music. He loves the diversity of Tampa and the unique opportunity God has given him to restore a work in the heart of the city.
Director of Creative Arts: Stan Wilkerson
Stan is the Director of Creative Arts which means he oversees and develop the weekend services with the music, media and tech. He has a heart for reaching people from a variety of backgrounds through the arts and loves to develop artists who can "create for their Creator."
Director of Community Impact: Brad Barmore
Brad is the Director of Community Impact. He specializes in all things community related like our Backpack Attack, Fall Festival, Spring Fling, Mission trips, serving and loving the helpless and hopeless of our community, and developing and mobilizing the volunteers at Common Ground.
Leadership Resident: Andrew Adames
Andrew has come to Common Ground with a passion to learn how to plant multi-ethnic churches. His primary responsibility is to learn the skills to plant a church one day and is working within our Community Life and Student Ministries.
Director of Children's Ministry: Tyler Lemmel
Tyler is currently a student at Florida Christian College in Kissimmee, FL. He is a Tampa Bay native and is our most recent addition to the team.
